Here I present you important words you need to know when you are in business or even as a salesperson. It is important to have a large vocabulary because you need to be confident while speaking to clients.

A register of financial transactions providing access to fund on demand, through a variety of different channels
Example: Meanwhile' we transfer part of our cash from current account to deposit account for earning 8.5% interest.

Example: He has not currently had any immunizations, as he was hospitalized the day before his appointment.

An advantage or profit gained from something, such as a deal or a sale.
Example: Free-range has benefits in terms of welfare and achievable prices, but is an expensive method of production.

Example: The company has been chosen on the basis different parameters like brand name, specialty of products etc.

Example: Whenever you meet a client, don't forget to leave your business card before you leave, so if the client has any questions he can contact you easily.

A company is a legal entity formed by a group of individuals to engage in and operate a business—commercial or industrial—enterprise
Example: The company aims to maintain production at a level of 90% for 15 weeks.

An organization engaged in commercial or economic competition with other companies.
Example: Sales are susceptible to change in consumer demand, changes in competitor pricing and an array of other external factors, meaning production may not always equal sale levels.

A written or spoken agreement, especially one concerning employment, sales, or tenancy, that is intended to be enforceable by law.
Example: Local farms will be competing for the local contracts, if they can offer a better quality or cheaper good or more of the good then they may gain the contract.

A person or organization that buys goods or services from a store or business.
Example: These systems provide proof to the potential customer that the products have the guaranteed quality.

A deduction from the usual cost of something, typically given for prompt or advance payment or to a special category of buyers.
Example: The 30% discount will reduce the price of yarn to £14.70.

downsizing
Verb
1. Permanent reduction of a company's labor force through the elimination of unproductive workers or divisions. 2. Marketing practice witch consist in reducing small quantity of the product without changing the package. This practice reduces the cost of the product and allows the company to make more money.
Example: He reintroduced financial discipline by downsizing the workforce, consolidated the product line and axed Copland.

The management of large amounts of money, especially by governments or large companies.

Example: Major establishment costs include land, land preparation, labour, grapevines, trellis materials and pest management materials.

Market research is the process of determining the viability of a new service or product through research conducted directly with potential customers.
Example: The initial step to diversification is assessing potential demand for a product using the tools of market research, local knowledge and evaluation of local competing businesses.

The creation of products with new or different characteristics that offer new or additional benefits to the customer.
Example: The acquisition of 30% market share of the distribution chain, investment in information technology and product development along with management re-structuring and adaptation of working practices all led to an increase in profitability.
